BLUE YAP ART

UCA Fine Art Year 3

I am currently exploring the abject and the grotesque with reference to absurdist themes inspired by Albert Camus and the writings of Julia Kristeva. Concentrating particularly on the artificial evocation of the abject using a variety of common/ manmade materials, I aim to achieve that through sculptural and film-based pieces that evoke curiosity and a desire for interaction from the viewer. I will also explore seduction and repulsion that come from the abject.
