In a Different Light - crit show

Applying what I had learned from the artwork I saw at the Stedelijk museum, I tried to recreate the same vibe using a spotlight and red vinyl. I think this improved the piece considerably as it drew attention to it in a very unobtrusive/ confrontational way, where the viewer would be attracted to it like a moth is attracted to a flame. It also, for reasons unexplained, made the viewer more inclined to touch and interact with it? Perhaps it was the gleam of the silicone skin. Perhaps it was the light bouncing off her silky hair. Maybe its Maybelline.
